Dj Blue Chats with Hawkeye on ‘DiChillSpot’.

One of dancehalls most prolific artists, ‘Hawkeye’ born Christopher Smith, stopped by DiChillSpot to chat with DJ Blue last Saturday March 20, 2021. It was quite an informal conversation however Hawkeye was quite himself, the professional entertainer who was comfortable in talking about his journey into and through music. From his early days, his collaborations and many performances over the decades, he found it difficult to single out the pinnacle performance that stood out in his mind. A legend in his own right, with millions of fans around the world, Hawkeye continues to make and produce music that carries his message.

There is hardly any continent where this world renowned artist has not performed and he always aim to deliver the best of himself. Fans always leave feeling satisfied.

This former Chef, left the kitchen and the hotel circuit to follow his passion when his career in music took flight in the early 1980’s. He was of course busy with his musical developments many years before that. Changing labels and managers over the years, he continues to make music and gave a pre-release preview of his latest work during his interview on DiChillSpot. He is indeed a son of the soil of Jamaica and continues to represent his music with hit after hit. Who knows, we may have a chance to talk with him again should he be performing in Europe after the lock downs. We look forward to that opportunity in the future.
